Patient description.
The patient in question is a male, sixty-six years old who resides in Virginia Beach Area. The
patient is a husband and is recently retired district superintendent. He shows signs of stroke
beginning with mild symptoms such as a headache, dizziness which progresses to numbness on
the right arm and blurry vision and speech. These symptoms advance to a severe problem, and
lack of breath. The patient is experiencing a stroke. The patient is then taken to the closest
hospital along the area, Sentara Independence.

thirty-mile radius from the beach. These facilities are well equipped with modern medical
