Hello,
Here are the instructions for this assignment:
This
module week starts the planning of your Strategic Audit Report. The
Strategic Audit Report will enable you to gain an understanding of a
business's strategic position, financial posture, leadership team, the
internal and external environment that impacts them, and corporate
resources (which includes marketing, finance, human resources,
information technology, and other elements).
By Module 8 you will compile and submit all of the information for
your report, which will then be implemented it into a formatted
strategic audit plan to help identify issues that need to be corrected
and provide a forward-thinking strategy that best meets the needs of the
business.
Complete Your Deliverable
Select a business to research and write an introductory overview to
use as part of the strategic audit report that you will create
throughout the term. Do not use an organization you have researched in
another course; use only original research and material.
It is recommended you select a publicly traded company (stocks) for
your strategic audit company. Public traded companies are required to
make all of their financial information and board of director’s
information available to the general public, which makes it easier for
you to collect the data needed for your strategic audit report.
Your Introduction Overview should include the following:
- The name of your business.
- History and background of the business.
- Detail of what the business does and who they do it for.
- Use a minimum of two (2) outside sources.
Review the Strategic Audit Report Guidelines page before submitting your topic selection.
Submit Your Results
- This section should be one (1) full page in length.
- The document should be double-spaced, correctly cited and referenced, using current APA formatting.
Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your
first and last name and the activity number (or description). Do not add
punctuation or special characters.
Your paper will automatically be evaluated through Turnitin
when you submit your assignment in this activity. Turnitin is a service
that checks your work for improper citation or potential plagiarism by
comparing it against a database of web pages, student papers, and
articles from academic books and publications. Ensure that your work is
entirely your own and that you have not plagiarized any material!
Your final
deliverable for the Strategic Audit Report will include the tasks you
complete each module week. Use the summary report provided by Turnitin
as additional feedback to improve your final report.
