Garbage Collection Experience
Garbage is increasingly becoming a big problem in the environment and learning
institutions are no exception. While the site generally looked clean, I was surprised by the
amount of litter in the school compound after the completion of the garbage tracking activity. In
particular, I found many pieces of trash in just five minutes, and became overwhelming to record
the garbage. I learned how much students did not through garbage in litter cans or recycling bins
considering that I collected more than I thought I would which was troubling. When I saw trash
bags from three days of collecting, it made my team members and be more aware of waste
management rather than littering the environment anyhow. While most students know how to
