Abstract
This is a comparative research conducted to unearth the challenges faced by two retail
firms under study. The two rival companies’ exhibit different management styles and have
periodically been receiving reviews periodically as a result of the increasing dynamism of the
market and regular changes in technology and globalization issues at large. Statistical differences
between the two firms, competitive advantages, and strategic moves among other crucial matters
shall be addressed as they contribute to the overall success of the respective companies and
determine their profitability. Due to visionary variations between the companies, they both have
undertaken different approaches to outdo each other in their quest to acquire a larger market
