The Hindu Caste system refers to the social stratification that used to exist among the Hindu, and
which divided them into groups such as; Brahmins, Shudras, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas, (Wolcott
S). These divisions based on the people's karma (work) and dharma (duty). With the Brahmins
being the topmost, including teachers and the Shudras took the lowest class, who included people
who did menial jobs.
The caste system has been beneficial to many Hindus mainly because it forms the basis of
determining and individual`s behavior and social- order. It creates the social culture especially
