The displacement vector of a moving object initially at the origin has a magnitude of 14.5 cm and is at and angle of 36 degrees below the negative x axis at a particular instant. What are the Cartesian coordinates of the object at that instant?

The coordinates are 14.5 cos (36 degrees) and 14.5 sin (36 degress)

Since it is in fourth quadrant x coordinate is positive and y coordinate is negative

14.5* cos 936 degrres) =11.73

14.5 * sin (36 degrees) =8.52

Answer: (11.73, -8.52)
