A vector has an x competent of -2.8 m and a y component of 5.2 m express the vector in magnitude angel form

the vector B can be represented as B = -2.8i + 5.2j metres 

the magnitude is given as B = sqrt( [xcomp]^2 + [ycomp]^2 ] 

=> B = sqrt( [-2.8]^2 + [5.2]^2 

=>magnitude of B =  sqrt( [-2.8]^2 + [5.2]^2  metres (you can calculate)

the angle is given as tan-1( [ycomp]/[xcomp] ) 

=> angle = tan-1(-2.8/5.2) 

=> angle = tan-1(-0.54)
