Recent reports by several medical and health care organizations research groups have
revealed that kidney disorders and related diseases have highly increased in the past one
decade. In human body kidneys, assists filter excess fluid, toxins, and waste from the
bloodstream. They are crucial for bone health and production of blood cell. Additionally,
Peterson, Hogard, Et al (1993), states that in case kidneys malfunction, what happens is that
harmful affluence forms in the human body, hence this may lead to rising of the blood
pressure, or too much fluid collecting itself in the body tissues, which may, on the other hand,
lead to edema which is basically a swelling condition that is mainly caused by an excessive
collection of watery fluid in the body’s tissues or the cavities.
