Groupthink theory is a 1972 approach where groups or conformity ideas are traceable in the
Asch's experiment on conformity. Conversely, the groupthink mentality is still on to date though
people have little to no clue about it. In the Coral Case study, the employees were extremely
dedicated and worked for the managers who did not act responsibly in their dockets. The
leadership was absent on the department attempting to follow the laid down regulations set by
the managers above them, which did not hand out the required/expected support (Jiao & Lee,
2017). There is so much frustration experienced by the workers when trust and communication
are lacking. The aspect of groupthink applies here, where groups of staff support each other for
