It is possible when the two persons stand at say north of the pole or east of the pole since the angle of elevation is the same.

The distance between them is 25 feet.

They are standing at 25/sqrt(2)= 17.68 from the bottom of the pole

Let the height of the flag is x feet

x/17.68 =tan(56 degrees)

tan (56 degrees) =1.4825

x =17.56 * tan (56 degrees) =17.56*1.4825= 26.208 =26.2

Answer: height of the flagpole =26.2 feet
