Roles of SMEs
During the execution of training, subject matter experts play different roles. Firstly,
SMEs maps the path to competency development. In a bid to attain such a role, SMEs ought to
coordinate with the instructional designer so that they can choose a suitable way they can attain
the required knowledge (Pappas, 2013). For instance, when developing skills in product
promotion, subject matter experts might come up with thoughts that can enable each learner to
evaluate the actual results. Such a role might be attained by SMEs since they think that their
realistic application is much efficient as compared to infographics.
Secondly, SMEs coordinates with other team members so that they can come up with
