Introduction
Reeves, Legrand, & Fuller (2018) in their article, “Your Strategy Process Needs a
Strategy” discusses how business leaders have been able to access a wide range of strategies
since the concept of business strategy became a discipline. The authors indicate that despite the
wide access to various approaches to strategy, the process of strategic planning has not changed.
The article indicates that a mismatch can exist between the business strategy adopted and the
business environment, which can make the process of strategic planning obsolete. Therefore, it is
critical to choose the best approach to strategy for an organization to effectively overcome the
