find the value of the expression

40+25/5*3=

Oct 5th, 2014

5×3 = 15

25/15 = 5 /3     I have divided both numerator and denominator by 5

40+25/(5×3) = 40+25/15 = 40+5/3

= (40×3)/3 + 5/3 here I took lcm

= 120/3 + 5/3

= (120+5)/3 = 125/3

Or if you meant

40+(25/5)×3 = 40+(5)× 3 = 40+15 = 55
