From the analysis of the entitled, ““Weaving the warp and weft of occupational therapy:
art and science for all times” by Wood Wendy (1995), it is evident occupational therapy is one of
the best and effective strategies that global firms should adopt to promote their services.
However, it should be noted that occupational therapy is a common practice, and it is important
that firms consider its application to promote professionalism and integrity of the firm (Wood,
1995). Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to provide a critique of the journal and
define occupational therapy based on the journal article. The paper will also indicate how
occupational therapy can be applied to both science and art in the various phenomenon in the
society, especially towards professional practices.
Critique of the Article
The article mainly outlines some of the philosophical values of occupational therapy and
how it influence health. According to the author, the article, it is evident that occupational
therapy is a form of technique that can be used in promoting human potential and value in the
