How might following a structured approach to creating sound and strong arguments impact your life?

Oct 7th, 2014

Yes, I always try to approach things in the most logical way possible. Stepping back from a situation and putting it into a structured set of questions and answers usually will help drastically reduce the likeliness of something going weary.

Courtney:

How about you avoid arguments?

The only reason for an argument to arise is when you're trying to degrade somebody else or impose your belief upon them.

Be an example. If somebody wants to follow your lead and be like you, they will.

If they don't, nothing will change that and further imposition will simply create tension.

If somebody wants to start a fight you can either 1: Walk away or 2: Provide your point of view and say no more.

The more you "argue" with someone the less likely they are to listen to you.

So my answer to this is... avoid arguments in the first place.
