The Vikings Movie is a 1958 epic historical fiction film that was directed by Richard
Fleischer. The producer of the movie was Jerry Bresler together with Kirk Douglas. The movie is
ideally grounded on the concepts of the 1951 novel known as The Vikings by Edison Marshall.
The starring actors in the movie include Ragnar Lodbrok and his sons. However, other main
actors with starring responsibilities in the movie include Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh together
with Ernest Borgnine. The movie critically used natural locations within Norway.
The exploitation of the Norse warrior Ragnar Lothbrok together with his kin were
introduced in the TV series drama known as Vikings. The drama critically introduced the
interests and demands for myths and figures about the early medieval world. Vikings connote to
the brave and blond warriors who were always in metal armor. Ideally, Vikings were the
seafaring Norse people originating from the Southern Scandinavia which is currently known as
Denmark, in Norway and Sweden. Vikings are the people who lived between the eighth century
and the eleventh century. They were responsible for pirating, raiding, and trading with the people
from the Northern European homelands throughout the vast land of Europe. These people
originally explored the region to the west, particularly Iceland, Greenland, and Vinland.
