People in a pub play a game.  There are 70 people in the pub altogether. But only 49 of the people play the game.  What is the percentage of the people in the pub who played the game.  Please explain clearly your findings.  Thank you

Total people = 70

People who played = 49

People who did not play = 70 - 49 = 21

Now

% of people who play = People who play / total people       *     100

                                   = 49 / 70       *    100

                                   = 0.7    *    100

                                   = 70 %

Hence 70% people played the game.
