A confidence interval is a defined range of values such that there is a specified probability that the value of a parameter lies within the interval.  In Part I of this project, you will analyze data, complete research and provide a write-up that includes calculations.   Introduction--Provide a description of the data you were provided and discuss what you know about the chosen topic.    Sample Data—Provide the 50 data values on your worksheet. You must provide ALL of your sample data.  Problem Computations—For the topic, you must answer the following:  Determine the mean and standard deviation of your sample.  Find the 80%, 95%, and 99% confidence intervals.  Make sure to list the margin of error for the 80%, 95%, and 99% confidence interval.  Create your own confidence interval (you cannot use 80%, 95%, and 99%) and make sure to show your work. Make sure to list the margin of error.  Provide a sentence for each confidence interval created which explains what the confidence interval means in context of topic of your project.  Problem Analysis—Write a half-page reflection.  What trend do you see takes place to the confidence interval as the confidence level rises? Explain mathematically why that takes place.  Explain how Part I of the project has helped you understand confidence intervals better?  How did this project help you understand statistics better?

Answer in 200 words Assignment: For this assignment, you will use the "Analytics Problem Statement" template to organize your problem statement. This will help you identify your analytical problem that you will eventually address using analytics. The analytics problem statement will be an integral component of the remaining activities in this course. Ensure that data are available to address your business problem. You will need to provide your dataset as a part of the Topic 3 assignment. If using data from your company, ensure that proprietary concerns are addressed or approvals to use the data are obtained. This post is similar to the group activity on page 259 of your text. In this post you will apply multiple skills learned throughout chapter 3 of the text. You will use the knowledge of forming ordered pairs, plotting ordered pairs on a rectangular coordinate system to form a line, finding slope given two points, and finding the equation of a line given a point and the slope. You will apply all of this knowledge to your measurements to find an equation that will approximate a person’s height given their forearm length. Your group will consist of yourself and four other friends or family members (do not include classmates) for a total of 5 subjects. Do not use names, refer to them as subjects A, B, C, D and E (or similar).For each subject, record the length of their forearm from elbow to wrist, record this number in inches and then show how to convert it to cm using 1 in = 2.54 cm, round to the tenths. This measurement will represent the subject's x coordinate. For each subject, record their height in feet and inches, then show how to convert this measurement to cm (1 ft = 12 in, then 1 in = 2.54 cm) round to the tenths. This measurement will represent the subject’s y coordinate. Write each subjects’ x and y coordinates as ordered pairs, (x,y). Plot all ordered pairs on a plane similar to that on page 259 but convert its axes measurements to cm. Select two of the ordered pairs on your graph that seem to follow an upward trend and draw in a line connecting them. Upload only the grid as an attachment to your post. Using the two ordered pairs you selected, show us how to plug them into the slope formula to find the slope of your line. Using one of the points that you chose and your slope, plug them into the point slope formula and solve for y to find the equation of your line in slope intercept form.
