Find the difference in speed, this will be 4.32-2= 2.32cm/s. This will be the rate at which the distance between the two ants increases per second.

The time taken for ant 1 to finish is 52cm/4.32cm/s

The distance between the two ants when ant 1 finishes is  2.32 cm/s * (52cm/4.32cm/s) = 27.93 cm
