GDP is one of the major indicators used to measure the health of a country’s
economy. It is the total value of all final goods and services produced in a specific fiscal year
(Kim 2016). It is used as a comparison to the previous years or quarters. The GDP for Brazil
was 1.9 trillion dollars in 2015 and was ranked 9th worldwide regarding GDP performance.
