1) After rinsing the buret with soap and water, you must always dispense through the tip of the buret so as to drain every single drop that is present.
2) It is always necessary to finally rinse the buret with the titrant so as to flush away any reactant, liquid or solid that may be present before we fill the buret with the pure titrant.
3) Carefully open the stopcock just barely and let a drop grow on the tip without allowing it grow so large that it drops off. Then tousch the tip of the buret to the side of a flsk or beaker so as to allow it to slide away.
