When multiplying decimals, how do you determine where to place the decimal in the answer?

Answer:

When multiplying decimals We need to place the decimal exactly by counting how many of decimal digits from each number(element) after point must be added together (total numbers after point).

After finishing the multiplication we have to put the decimal after counting the number from the right hand side to left hand side.

Example: 123.45 x 78.9123 = 9741.723435 (first number 2 + second number 4 = 6)

145.27 x 328.439 = 47712.33353 (first number 2 + second number 3 = 5)
