1. Share your findings RE sales (in the last 2-5 yrs.) of an American company in India vs. the U.S.  Provide specific sources (i.e., URLS) and briefly mention your thoughts on the communication strategies employed by the company to sell their product(s) in India.  You are advised to research ads by the company on YouTube and other sources.  

2. View the following ads and for each, briefly mention your thoughts on the language(s) they use to market:

3. Summarize the highlights of the article on Indian Resumes (under Course Material) and mention 1 strength and 1 or more loopholes (and why).

4. Analyze the language of the Ms. America controversy (i.e., comments made by those who disagreed with the choice of the finalist) using the language pyramid and politeness range/cline we discussed in class (see slide on politeness under Course Material).
