Personal Statement

I am a former Spanish language teacher who taught high school students for a year in my
home country before relocating to the United States to further my education and seek greater
opportunities. My interest and passion for the Spanish language also inspired me to volunteer for
the Hispanohablantes Club from 2011 -2013 to encourage young people to learn the language
and understand its cultural aspects and importance. Aside from this teaching experience, I
performed several roles in the manufacturing units and warehousing operations of the United
States Army and pri...
