labor force is simply the sum of all the working-age bracket people, both the employed and
the unemployed. The participation rate refers to the labor force expressed as a percentage of
the population of those aged 15 years and above. Also, employment is defined as the number
of people working for either pay or profit, inclusive of those who had a job but were not
working within the reference period due to leaves, family responsibilities, and disputes. The
employment rate is stated to be the number of employed persons expressed as a percentage of
