In today's medicine we already have several artificial replacements for human body pat parts. Devices such as artificial joints, metal plates, hearing aids and even artificial organs can all help a person's quality of life. With the advancements in technology, such as 3D printing, these devices will become more widely available. But that doesn't mean we should rely on them.

I personally feel that proven artificial parts can be beneficial and that society will slowly adopt them. But I believe our health is best preserved by proactive means, such as diet and exercise. Any surgery has complications and any artificial equipment will have drawbacks. It's best to take care of the body you have and use technology as needed to maintain quality of life.
