Introduction
Change management is a way of ensuring that the changes made to an organization are
implemented efficiently, and the objectives of the modification are realized. It focuses on
individuals or group to ensure that they move from the current situation to a new one. The
change could range from strategies to policies that an organization undertakes to achieve its
full potential. Change can be managed successfully if its impact does not affect so much the
ones that are targeted. It should be explained why change is inevitable and the results that are
anticipated from the modification (Todnem, 2005).
Explain the change purpose
An organization cannot come up with change without having its objectives in mind.
They include responding to the changing needs of customers and devising changes that meet
the needs and to answer to new technology such as information technology to meet the
business needs. The process of managing change is different from organization to
organization as well as from project to project. Change management’s focus is on people, and
it is about implementing it thoroughly and ensuring it lasts. Additionally, the change should
have a positive effect on almost all the people that are targeted by it.
