Overview
You’ll now apply what you’ve learned about the fashion industry to
create a step-by-step plan that tracks a fashion apparel item from
concept to consumer.
Instructions
This assignment requires you to write a paper that describes the
creation of a garment as well as how it’s developed, produced, and
sold to consumers. This garment should be a single apparel item,
such as a man’s swimsuit, a woman’s jacket, or a child’s hat. It should
have a few different colors or prints, but all fabric and construction
components should be the same, to keep production consistent.
Your paper will include seven parts, which are described in the
following subsections. Be sure to address each and every question in
the order in which it’s listed in the outline to receive full credit.
All of the information you need is included in your textbook. However,
you may consult and reference additional research sources and other
websites as necessary. Use appropriate citations throughout your
paper, and include a works cited page with the project.
