Are men naturally more violent than women or does the criminal justice system just treat them differently? In my opinion I would have to say that I do believe that men are naturally more violent than women and the criminal justice system treats men differently than women and men do commit more violent crimes that effect the public safety . In my opinion I would have to say that men are much more violent than women are due to how much more crimes men commit compared to women. I say that men are more violent because they commit crimes that harms the public safety while women are less likely to commit crimes that harm the public safety. As stated int he textbook, “ Not only do women commit fewer crimes, but also they commit crimes that are of less interest to those concerned about public safety.”(193) Women do commit some violent crimes it just that men commit way more violent crimesand thats why they are seen more violent than females.Men also commit way more crimes than women doand that also helps pavean image about how they are more violent then females. As stated in the textbook, “ … Males do indeed commit far more offenses, especially those deemed important to criminology, than females do.”(193) When you see a major crime happen in the united States it is normally men who are committing the major crime that is affecting a lot of people. An example is a lot of the major shootings that has happen in the United States recently has been done by men.

My question is why do constitutive theorist reject the arguments that see crime and offenders are disconnected from society or that individuals acting independently? I ask this question because there has been many theories that center itself the reason why criminals become criminals is because of how they are in society.

The Criminal Justice System is a biased system that tends to favor men over women. The concept that men are naturally more violent and criminal that women is entirely out of the question. Women have always found an easy way when they stand before a court of law, rarely do they receive the death sentence, and if they do, they are subject to parole. The United States Population consists of about three hundred people, of which the male and female population is equal. However, when taking a closer look at the number of inmates in the U.S federal prisons, one can find that the population of male inmates is over ninety percent compared to that of women that is below ten percent. Liberal Feminism seems to focus on the norm of women’s liberation and gender discrimination. It would appear that women seek to be equal to men, and this equality tantamounts to equal opportunity (Cruz, 2018). With this in mind, such claims would mean that the Judicial system would treat women the same as men, there would be an equal number of inmates when it comes to gender. On the other hand, Marxist Feminism bases its claims on capitalist societies that exploit individuals based on the context of gender and race. With this in mind, women are considered as secondary. Society tends to focus on its ability to rule over women, but this depends on the woman’s race and class. According to feminist theory, women were considered not liberated had the highest probability of committing a crime. This notion assumes that women who were offered more life opportunities had the least likelihood of committing a crime (Ferguson, 2017). In retrospect, the hypothesis of this claim is based on the female gender. Upon close examination, it would mean that if men were offered the same opportunities, they would most likely follow the same suit. The variable in mind is an opportunity. When an opportunity is added to the equation, it will result in lesser instances of crime. Society has always viewed women as victims, and through numerous theories and ideologies, there is no relationship between their role in society and crime. Women are falsely categorized as victims, and yet the world today has changed. Women have better opportunities than men in this modern-day era. Men on the other have been victim’s of the Judicial system. research and statistics show that men who engage in criminal activities come from impoverished communities; however, women from such cultural groups are not immune to crime.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM

The rise of unions that fight for the rights of women especially against issues like rape,
gender based violence and gender inequality has made the criminal justice system to be
conditioned to rule in favor of women. Well, it goes long way to explain the validity of men
aggression over women but nevertheless women are not left behind in this. But for now, I will
outline how men are more violent than women.
Naturally, men are more aggressive and even more violent than women...
