Description
Human Anatomy teaching methods have evolved as the medical undergraduate curriculum has modernized. Traditional teaching methods of dissection (cadaveric, animal models), tutorials, and lectures are now supplemented by anatomical models and e-learning. Despite these changes, the preferences of medical students and anatomy faculty towards both traditional and contemporary teaching methods and tools are largely unknown.
You should write an essay (Microsoft Word document) describing the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional or e-learning methods for teaching/learning of Anatomy and Physiology.

Anatomy and Physiology
Anatomy refers to the scientific study which involves identifying parts and structures of a
living organism and describing them (Tortora 5). Physiology refers to the study that deals with
functions of bodily structures in a living organism (Tortora 6). The use of dissections which
involves cadavers and animal models, lectures, and tutorial methods were considered as forms of
teaching anatomy during the traditional days. Later with time, the traditional methods were
replaced with modern methods that involve the use of web-based learning and anatomical images
from computer technology for the purpose of e-learning (Kolhe et al 72). In doing so, it led to
some changes in the teaching faculty of the medical students. This paper seeks to present the
advantages and disadvantages of the traditional or e-learning methods for teaching/...
