Abstract
In today's world, big data opens new opportunities in different sections and the data set
available is helpful in some scenarios, as big data has been further described as the pool of
potential understanding of the use for ongoing discovery and analysis within the companies. It is
also an extreme challenge for digital forensic, and it ensures safety measures due to the increased
challenge of the maintenance cost. Data forensic has been outlined as the process used to tackle
various difficulties during analyzing and handling big data when unlaw full act has occurred
while preserving the forensic principles to be presented in the court of law as digital evidence
transmitted or stored on the computer. The resources present are not enough to overcome the big
dataset overwhelming challenges, the security measures, and the environment. The huge dataset
was obtained as a consequence of the application of digital forensic on big data. This paper will
analyze the arena of digital forensic on big data, the impact. Furthermore, the challenges related
to the accumulation of digital evidence from such a huge set can be compromised on attacks as
the ant forensic tools are on the verge of earning more fame.

Introduction
Recently there has been the increased use of big data globally, and there has been an
increasing amount of attention in the field of digital forensic. Digital evidence found has also
become more and more valuable during various investigations. There is also an evolution of
different challenges facing digital forensics. It includes encryption, handling different devices,
the need to process incomplete and inconsistent data, and the availability of anti-forensics tools.
There are also emerging challenges such as increased storage capacity in some devices, increased
volume of data that may be collected concerning an investigation when needed (Adedayo, O. M.
(2016, June).. These challenges have led to the advancement of technology and the need to
interconnect various devices to obtain better results.
Digital forensics
The field involves different aspects of many investigations containing digital information. It
comprises of the four main parts identification, organization, and presentation.
Big Data
