Abstract
Teams are an important part of organizations. A successful organization can be seen from the
lens of successful teams. Teams have enabled organizations to have a competitive edge in the
industry in which they operate. In this paper, a research of the available resources has been
conducted to highlight the importance of two team management concepts: balancing
conformity and deviance and feedback. It is important to ensure that there is a balance
between conformity and deviance for proper goal attainment. Each of these team
management concepts possess different weaknesses and strengths. The paper will analyze
conformity, deviance, and feedback, as well as offer new thoughts, with a focus on biblical
scriptures.
