University of Florida Chapter 3 Population vs Food Supply Graph Discussion Post
There are two team questions in the “exploration” section at the end of Chapter 3 in “Finite Mathematics". Each question has multiple parts so you should find a way to contribute supporting evidence, graphs, arguments, etc. for either of the questions and either sides of the possible issue. As your response for the week the class should be using the evidence that was posted to try to wrap up a summary of the issue. Two questions from teams discussion:1. Find a graph that illustrates population and another that illustrates food production or availability. Make sure the two graphs are for the same population (whatever population you choose). Where do these two graphs intersect? Does that “solution” imply that the population should or should not have sufficient food?2. Find graphs or equations that illustrate two of either women’s wages, overall wages, and/or men’s wages over time in the same type of jobs. Analyze the data to see if genders appear to be paid the same amount for the same job. Is the experience considered in the data? Find a study comparing men’s and women’s pay and look at the information used to determine if other variables are held constant within the study so that the results are a true comparison of men and women in the same job with the same education and experience.

MTH 218 UOPX Wk 4 Test Type Depends on The Population Sample Collected Response
Consider a situation that you might want to study through a statistical lens. The situation would require you to study a small sample and make an inference to the population. For example, you might want to understand how likely children are to complete their homework when considering their individual characteristics or maybe you want to understand if children who eat broccoli are more likely to complete their homework than those who do not.Respond to the following in a minimum of 100 words without any reference:How would you select a test that was appropriate to answer your question? How would you rule out tests that were not appropriate to answer your question? Post 2 replies to classmates or your faculty member. Be constructive and professional. This is one of the responses from another student that I need to reply to:"To determine the kind of test to use will depend on the population sample collected. For instance, we can use the T-Test to find the difference between the two pairs of the mean. In our case, we need to determine the individual characteristics which can be easily done using the ANOVA test. First, we need to find quality data sample population and compare those population means with three or more population mean. The main idea is to figure out how much of the total variance is from either the variance between the groups or the variance within the groups. Therefore, our Null hypothesis will be all the population mean of those groups is equal while the alternative hypothesis will be at least one mean of those groups is different. As illustrated below.H0: µ1=µ2=µ3Ha: At least one the mean differs from the others. For this case, we have to test how these means differ from other mean populations. We will use the concept of variance to test if our null hypothesis means is likely equal to other means for us to accept or reject if one of the means is not likely to be equal to other means. For better results, we need to study our population sampling as we use the concept of variance. Once we find the one or more mean differ, we have to validate the result because the quality of data affects the outcome, and also it will depend on our population sample."

Rasmussen Coca Cola Bottling Company Tableau Mobile Dashboards Paper
Based on the topic you selected, you must use Data.gov or Census.gov to locate and download a dataset that is related to your new product or service. Sometimes these datasets contain a great deal of raw data, so you will need to use Tableau Prep to extract and analyze it before using it to begin building data visualizations. In a 3-4 page paper, you must:Provide the source of your dataset, along with the URL and description, and explain why this dataset best suits your Business Intelligence plan.Provide snapshots of your extraction and analysis using Tableau Prep. This should include any filters, column renaming, data format changes, and so on.Provide snapshots of any NULL value filters, if your data contains NULL values.Your submission must include:Your Microsoft Word document with at least 5 screenshots and descriptions of your extraction and analysis steps.Your original dataset in .csv or .xlsx file format.A Tableau Prep flow file in .tfl format.
