Step 1: Respond to the following:Imagine you are writing exam questions for an algebra course. You want to write questions that include finding the zeros of polynomials. To balance the difficulty level of the test’s questions, you decide to include two different types of questions, as described here:Question #1: A polynomial of degree at least 3 where all the zeros are positive whole numbersQuestion #2: A polynomial of degree at least 3 where one or more of the roots are fractionsFind two polynomials for the two described questions. Explain how you know each question satisfies the requirements stated. What approach did you use to find these polynomials?Step 2: Then, respond to at least two other classmates' posts, comparing your concepts with theirs. Once again, use any personal experience if appropriate to help support or debate other students' posts. If differences of opinion occur, students should debate the issues and provide examples to support opinions.*Be sure to cite any outside sources in APA format

Option 1: Springdale Shopping Survey InstructionsThe major shopping areas in the community of Springdale include Springdale Mall, West Mall, and the downtown area on Main Street. A telephone survey has been conducted to identify strengths and weaknesses of these areas and to find out how they fit into the shopping activities of local residents. The 150 respondents were also asked to provide information about themselves and their shopping habits. The data are provided in the file SHOPPING. The variables in the survey can be found in the file CODING.We will concentrate on variables 18–25, which reflect how important each of eight different attributes is in the respondent’s selection of a shopping area. Each of these variables has been measured on a scale of 1 (the attribute is not very important in choosing a shopping area) to 7 (the attribute is very important in choosing a shopping area). The attributes being rated for importance are listed below. Examining the relative importance customers place on these attributes can help a manager “fine-tune” his or her shopping area to make it a more attractive place to shop.18 Easy to return/exchange goods19 High quality of goods20 Low prices21 Good variety of sizes/styles22 Sales staff helpful/friendly23 Convenient shopping hours24 Clean stores and surroundings25 A lot of bargain salesPerform the following operations for variables 18–25:Compute descriptive statistics for each variable along with an explanation of what the descriptive statistics tell us about the variable. This will include the mean, mode, range, standard deviation, and the 5-number summary (minimum, first quartile (Q1), median (Q2), third quartile (Q3), and maximum). MTH410 Colorado State University Module 5 Finer Suit Company Report
Finer Suit Company sells suits in the US and the European Union. The company monitors its suit sales by collecting randomly chosen data from store locations throughout the US. They record list price (in dollars), sale price (in dollars), and number of days it takes to sell each suit. Data was collected from 200 suits sold in the US and 200 in the EU region. The complete data set is in the file named Suits.Managerial ReportPrepare a report (see Module folder) that summarizes your assessment of the nature of the suit market in each region. Be sure to include the following seven items in your report.
Descriptive statistics (mean, median, range, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation) to summarize each of the three variables for the all US suits. Use z-scores to determine if there any outliers in the data set for any of the three variables. If there are any outliers in any category, please list them and state for which category they are an outlier. If a result is an outlier, state whether it is below or above the mean.

Use z-scores to determine if there any outliers in the data set for any of the three variables. If there are any outliers in any category, please list them and state for which category they are an outlier. If a result is an outlier, state whether it is below or above the mean.
Compare your summary results from #1 and #2. Discuss any specific statistical results that would help Finer Suits understand its business.
Develop a 99% confidence interval estimate of the population mean sales price and population mean number of days to sell for US suits. What is the Margin of error? What are the lower (or left) and upper (or right) endpoints of the confidence interval? Interpret your results.
Develop a 99% confidence interval estimate of the population mean sales price and population mean number of days to sell for EU suits. What is the Margin of error? What are the lower (or left) and upper (or right) endpoints of the confidence interval? Interpret your results.
Assume the Finer Suit Company requested estimates of the mean List Price for the US suits with a margin of error of $600 and the mean List Price of EU suits with a margin of error of $600. Using 99% confidence, how large should the sample sizes be for each?
Suppose a US suit has a list price of $1,500 and a EU suit has a list price of $1,200. What is your estimate of the final selling price (based on the percent difference for the sale and list price) and number of days required to sell each of these suits?
Submit your Excel file in addition to your report. Requirements:
Paper must be written in third person.
Your paper should be four to five pages in length (counting the title page and references page) and cite and integrate at least one credible outside source.
Include a title page, introduction, body, conclusion, and a reference page.
The introduction should describe or summarize the topic or problem. It might discuss the importance of the topic or how it affects you or society as a whole, or it might discuss or describe the unique terminology associated with the topic.
The body of your paper should answer the questions posed in the problem. Explain how you approached and answered the question or solved the problem, and, for each question, show all steps involved. Be sure this is in paragraph format, not numbered answers like a homework assignment.
The conclusion should summarize your thoughts about what you have determined from the data and your analysis, often with a broader personal or societal perspective in mind. Nothing new should be introduced in the conclusion that was not previously discussed in the body paragraphs.
Include any tables of data or calculations, calculated values, and/or graphs associated with this problem in the body of your assignment.
