native american names are influenced by social hierarchies and personal characteristics but nature plays a major roles in the names of most native Americans tribes.the name changes during the growth period depending on the personal characteristic and action of the individual.tribal leaders choose the name and are majorly involved in the naming process.the tradition of changing names encourages the individual to better him or herself.this process honours the culture of native americans because it ensures the continuity of tradition.the difference in the names symbolizes a persons character and experiences and the naming process distinguishes the different tribes in native america
