Introduction
Many businesses today are operating outside the limits of ethics and standards that are
set by business regulatory bodies. Unethical conduct in the business sector can be seen as
broad since a business can engage itself in one form of unethical decision which differs from
that of other businesses. For instance, a firm may decide to exploit its customers regarding
prices for the goods they sell to them, and this may differ from another organization that has
decided to exploit its employees. Some of the most common form of unethical decision that a
business may engage in includes exploitation suppliers, workers, the community around it
and customers among others. The decision seems good to the company at forts but ends up
ruining the reputation of such an organization in the long run. Truth is that not every
business follows the set regulations but others do so deliberately and to a deeper extent. The
paper has identified exploitation as the most common form of exploitation in the business
sector today. Besides, the paper will discuss on why exploitation is an unfair business
decision and also a present solution.
Exploitation in business decision making can be referred to as choosing to do what is
wrong bypassing the rights of the stakeholders. So when we talk of unethical business
exploitation to stakeholders, we are referring to actions that fail to conform to the acceptable
standards of business (Kish-Gephart, Harrison, & Treviño, 2010). Sometimes, it might be the
management of a business that is deceptive over the span of their employment and at
different times, we're discussing corporate culture, where the entire business is degenerate
starting from the top, with shocking results for society. Realize that what is unscrupulous may
not be unlawful (however, at other times, it is both). There are numerous occurrences where
organizations may act within the set law yet their activities hurt society and are by and large
thought to be exploitative and unethical. A couple of firms increase their revenue for the
proprietors to the weakness of their workers which is unacceptably exploitative. A divide of

the ways that they do this are clearly deceitful, and some are apparently unlawful. They may
pay their specialist's low wages, encouraging them to fund their pay with food stamps and
welfare at the nationals' cost. Then again they may manufacture their items abroad in
countries that don't have work laws that guarantee their representatives, including allowing
compelled work for kids as young as five years old. A couple of associations have been found
obligated of manhandling the wage and work laws in the United States, compelling hourly
workers to work off the clock or danger losing their occupations, or ending laborers who fuss
about encroachment of the wage laws.
A business may also choose to exploit their customers in several ways ranging from
overpricing their products all the way to giving those products that d o not meet standards
