excel software. 2. Use sample size, which is not more than 15 and not less than 10 observations. 3. After reading section 16.1 from your both eBook and slides, identify the
following for your dataset:
i. Time series component. You can draw line chart to support your answer.
ii. Compute the simple Index number for your data (use period one (year,
day,…etc.) as a base period).
iii. Determine the actual percentage growth between the base period and the
tenth period in your data.
iv. Determine the actual percentage growth between period six and the tenth
period in your data.
4. Discuss your results in each point as stated below. Notes: 1. You will be required to write and submit a short paper (Max. 4 pages, typewritten
and have at least a 12-point font – Times New Roman) that describes your case
study. 2. The paper should be presented as follows:
• Introduction
• Research methodology
• Research findings and discussion (Step 3) • Appendix contains the data used in your research (if you include the data
in the analysis part then you don’t need insert it in the appendix)
• References in APA style .3. To collect your data you can refer to PSU database or any other database. 4. Plagiarism will tracked and
