Solar energy is described as energy that has been harnessed from the sun and converted into
usable form such as electric or thermal energy. It is a renewable form of energy meaning it
doesn’t get exhausted with time. It is clean as there are no harmful by products produced after its
conversion hence making it safe to the environment. Comparing solar energy to the convectional
electricity produced from fossil fuels that are burned to produce electricity but once burned they
emit harmful gases that cause air pollution and in turn cause global warming.
