Introduction
Social determinates of health (SDOH) are the conditions in which people are born,
reside, discover, work, and take part in, worship, and age. It affects the outcomes in terms of
health, functioning, and quality of life outcomes. These conditions include social-economic and
physical factors. The five key areas that affect this family include:
Economic Stability
It entails employment and food security. The food is available, and the wife prepares a
healthy diet from breakfast and all other meals. The two daughters and the mother eat healthy
except for the dad, a drunkard, and drinks on an empty stomach, which predisposes him to folic
acid deficiency. The two parents have stable jobs that give an income. The father is a dentist
while the mother a teacher; this enables them to afford suitable housing and a healthy diet. The
children are said to achieve more parents' opportunities because of their financial ease (Smith
and Hamon, 2016). This family belongs to the middle class; hence they can afford basic utilities
and health insurance.
Education
Both parents are degree holders of higher proportion, hence are knowledgeable, depicted
in their saving for retirement. The mother plays a major role in this family, whereby she nurtures
