New products have a purpose in the marketplace, which is to maintain growth and profitability and to replace outdated products in the marketplace. In this Assignment, you will learn how Jim King and his wife decided to create the company GaGa’s Inc. using the product Sherbetter, a frozen desert product line. GaGa’s quickly expanded the product line from just Lemon to several other flavors as well as Sherbetter bars. In the video on how GaGa’s Inc. engaged in the new product development process, you will learn about the struggles of branding, line extensions, and other aspects of marketing a new product in the frozen dessert market (Lamb et al., 2014).

Part 2 concerns Distribution or Place at New Balance® Hubway:

New Balance® Hubway is a bike sharing system in the Boston area that uses automated stations to provide a bike service to people looking to go short distances. In this clip, New Balance Hubway employees discuss how the retailing model works for Hubway, and how the difference between brick and mortar and e-business models allowed them to succeed in the Boston area. in creating its brand was to make it memorable and market its products. By making the brand

customers easily make choice on whether to purchase a product depending on the brands name.
For instance the gaga offers bars and pints of Sherbetter therefore by creating a good reputation
on the brand name will lead to increase of the number of sales. The gaga offers bars but pints of
sherbetter focuses on making individuals comprehend what they get with an item out of the
other. Gaga basically needs their brand to only concentrate on the larger part of promoting
exertions as it makes attempts in making reliability to its product buyers.

didn’t find may competitors or different socials medias but I found that the company has an
official website that gives a Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram sites. This sites only talks

about the company’s product and the challenges they face in accordance with the benefits the
company experiences for instance they fight and the bullying they tend to face. I didn’t manage
to see the point discussing that the company discuses about itself, like telling about its location,
its product or its general history. After checking the website well I noticed that the company
offers its customers different variety of flavors that customer may have different variety of
sherbetter flavors. Thin site deeply describes the sorts of flavors that they experience as they
purchase the company’s products.
