Foreign Intelligence Threat
Every country has secrets that are utilized to keep the country safe and give the country a
competitive advantage in the global sphere. The US's intelligence prowess is considered a major
source of global power, and growing prowess by other countries like China and Russia poses a
significant threat to the country’s sovereignty and national security. China and Russia have
continuously increased their military budgets, which increases their technological capability to
gather political, industrial, or military information, which can be used to manipulate a country's
tactics. When we look at Iran, it has substantial regional supremacy in the Middle East; hence it
has the potential of posing an enmity peril to the US. China has an increasing potential due to its
rising global power, which can significantly influence foreign intelligence competencies.1. With
the history of being accused of interfering with the US presidential election in 2016, Russian’s
foreign intelligence organization has a tremendous potential of posing a threat to the US.2.
Therefore, this perspective reveals that Russian foreign intelligence organizations' supremacy
poses the greatest threat to the US. This perspective will be supported through an intrinsic
comparison of the Iranian, Chinese, and Russian GEOINT, OSINT, HUMINT, SIGNT, and
MASINT disciplinarians.
Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) is commonly applied in the nation's military
operations since it entails evaluating and scrutinizing imagery intelligence. With the GEONIT,
an intelligence service can get a clear picture of things in a specific place. Chinese employs these
capabilities in navigating and supporting marine actions in its south sea. The visual capabilities
have influenced Chinese operational supremacy in this shipping route, especially for commercial
operations. Iran is a participant in the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation organization; hence it can
