15(x+2)4-17(x+2)2+4=0

15(x+2)4-12(x+2)2-5(x+2)2+4=0

3(x+2)2[5(x+2)2-4]-1[5(x+2)2-4]=0

[3(x+2)2-1][5(x+2)2-4]=0

(x+2)2 =1/3 or (x+2)2 =4/5

x+2 = ±sqrt (1/3) or x+2 = ±sqrt(4/5)

x = -2 ±sqrt (1/3) or x = -2 ±sqrt(4/5)

Option B gets simplified into -2 Plus or minus sqrt(1/3) and -2 plus or minus 2 /sqrt(5)

Answer: B
