In At&T Mobility both the majority and dissenting opinions made good points. You are to analyze the case from a legal and ethical standpoint. Your objective is to show an understanding of the procedures and process that brought the case to the US Supreme Court, the facts of the case, the decision and dissent and the importance of the case to both business and the consumer. This paper should have 5 pages of analysis (body) and should meet the following requirements. I will concede some of the requirements are a little extreme for such a short paper, but you must know how to do these when you are in a work situation.
The body of the paper should be about 5 pages long. All papers will be
- 8 ½ x 11 paper
- Papers must be submitted in electronic format through Blackboard.
- Margins shall be 1 inch on each side
- Font Times New Roman 12 points
- Each page number shall be in the bottom center
Papers must have:
- Title page
- Table of contents
- Executive summary

The paper provides a detailed analysis of the case held at the supreme court
of California which was argued in November 9th and decided Me April 27,
AT&T MOBILITY V.CONCEPCION
2011.the case involved a contract of a cellular telephone, which involved the
AT&T mobile phone company, who are the petitioner and the conceptions
which are the respondents. The attribution disagreement began when the
conceptions were charged a sales tax on the phones they purchased at a
retail price. The phones were supposed to be free on the basis of the
advertisements they had made on media. This was a breach of the contract
agreement that they had with the mobile phone industry therefore, the
Concepcion’s decided to sue the AT&T mobile industry for false advertising
in a California federal district court. The district court ruled on the motion
that the arbitration was unconscionable in the eyes of the California law that
were held by the federal arbitration Act (FAA).the paper will, therefore,
provide an analysis of how the judges at the Supreme Court arrived at the
rule of dissent and the grounds for their motion.
