technology company. Apple Inc is doing so well in the technology industry competing favorably
with other similar companies in the industry. Apple Inc comes up with designs, develops and
distributes or rather sells electronics, computer softwares and offer online services. Based on
assets and revenues Apple Inc is the world’s largest information technology company. Some of

differentiation and market focus. Apple Inc strategizes on differentiation; the iphones, tablets,
macbooks and computers produced by Apple are extremely distinguishable from their
competitors like Samsung, Dell, HTC and others. The products of Apple cannot be compared to
any other they are branded in an attractive manner, they are durable, have features that perform
various functions and cannot easily blend with other devices. For instance it is not possible to
share content from an iphones to a Samsung device unless through specific applications. This
makes the company flourish in the industry due to its unique and incomparable products. (Mallin

Apple Company strategizes on focus; they have a defined target market. Apple products
are expensive due to their uniqueness hence affordable by less people but this still gets Apple
profits since they focused on the market. They have established connections to many countries
worldwide where they have consumers. Compared to other companies like Nokia Company
which have products that are cheap and affordable to any customer Apple company has a
focused readily available market. The two strategies focus and differentiation have enabled
Apple Company to maintain high standards and competitive in the industry and attract more
customers. These strategies enable Apple Inc to remain its competitive in the market. (Mallin &
