Problem solving and decision making are two important skills that a leader needs to be
able to have to be successful. There are many complex situations that leaders and managers find
themselves in that ambiguous, with no clear right or wrong solution. Being able to work through
a situation, evaluate different possibilities in a methodical way, and come to a final decision that
can be communicated to the team. For some people this is second nature, others may struggle.
