According to the Bible, a Christian is a person whose behavior, speech, and activity is like those
of God`s Son, Jesus Christ. Thus, anyone who is a follower of Jesus or one who belongs to the
party of Christ is a Christian. The Bible further explains that good deeds alone, including
showing mercy and kindness, do not make a person acceptable to God. Thus, an individual may
reflect good behavior and live to high moral standards including giving money and property to
the poor and serve neighbors, but that does not distinguish a person as a Christian. Also, the
Bible insists that a Christian is not necessarily an individual who goes to Church severally.
According to Titus 3:3-6, salvation or being born again so as to become a believer is a gift from
God and nothing that a person does can earn them salvation. Titus furthers his argument by
saying that a true Christian is that individual who has put their faith, trust and belief in Christ and
has accepted God`s gift of salvation. Besides, Titus insists that being a Christian suggests that a
person is ready to accept that Christ suffered and died on the cross for every person’s...
