sure way to preserve the present for the future. Even though photos are not as highly regarded as
they used to some time back, their essence in modern-day remains intact. Photographs are an
essential way to preserve moments that are hard to come by; hence, enabling the owner to revisit
these moments over and over, at a moment’s notice. Susan Sontag in her book On Photography,
argues that “photographs give people an imaginary possession of the past” (Sontag, 2014). Her
