I'm working on a education & teaching discussion question and need a sample draft to help me study.
Week 5 - Discussion for Chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11
" YES (cumul.) "
in the discussion column/row to denote that each of the three discussion weeks are cumulative, including the previous weeks of content in that week of discussion.
So, in week two, instead of the discussion including just chapters 3, 4, & 5 from the row, the term cumulative means that it will include discussion on chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5.
Students will post the assignments. *smile*
Students will, throughout a lesson’s 7-day week, post either:
A) three 100-word minimum posts discussing practical, workplace applications of the course concepts for one or more of the blue-bold vocabulary words in the chapters (the ones associated with the lesson’s designated reading chapters)
B) three peer posts to other students covering the same topics as in point A above
C) a mix and match of either posts to the whole forum and/or posts to peers, totaling 3 for the lesson week
NOTE: all posts much contain one or more of the blue-bold vocabulary words in the chapters (the ones associated with the lesson's designated reading chapters)
The discussion assignment posts take place in the designated assignment forums on the discussion board.
The discussions take place in weeks 2, 5 and 7.
There are three discussion posts required for each lesson in weeks 2, 5 and 7 and they must take place during the calendar week of the lesson (as shown on the course calendar below).
The three discussion posts required for each lesson must take place during the calendar week of the lesson (as shown on the course calendar below). Yes, that is a repeat of the line above. It is for emphasis.
USE THE BLUE-BOLD VOCABULARY WORDS/CONCEPTS FROM THE TEXT AS THE TOPICS FOR YOUR POSTS.
You may come up with the topic of the posts you make based on these vocabulary words. It is completely up to you to write about what seemed interesting or thought-provoking to you from the chapters listed. Just make sure you use the blue-bold vocabulary words in your posts as a guide to the content. Remember, these posts are to be practical, workplace applications of the course concepts.
