The number of hate crimes in the country has given leaders sleepless nights. The nation that was
once envied as the cradle where dreams come true is envisaged by divisive climate. The
government emerges in hate that calls for our attention. It is time Americans from all walks of
life condemn bigotry and hate that is evident across the states. Tonight, our guest will help us
understand why hate crimes are on the rise and the mitigating factors that can help us tone down
on the political temperature.
I am Ashley McCoy, and this is morning drive at Hot 97 FM Live. In our podcast this morning,
we explore the recent rise in hate crime in the US, the role of social media in fueling hate crime
and the strategies the community can embrace to reduce the vice. My guest this morning is Levi
