    here is the topic

    • Instead of focusing on humans and dogs using the facility, only focus on the dogs.
    • We would be marketing stand-alone facilities that are convenient for busy people who want their dogs to be as healthy as possible.
    • The pet owner is hiring a "Personal Trainer" to exercise their dog. This is different than hiring someone to walk your dog and it is more than only providing obedience training.
    • Programs offered could include weight loss, but also just general exercise, socialization for their dog, and some obedience training. There could be dog treadmills, a small swimming pool, an obstacle course, etc.
    • Dog gym selling point is that it is a convenient option for the pet owner to run errands while their dog is improving their health and well-being.
    • If our facility location was strategically placed near large gyms, the pet owner would have the option to drop their pet off at our facility and then go next door and get their own workout. Most gyms are located near convenient shopping, so if the pet owner is not a gym enthusiast, they can run errands.
    • Here are the questions: 1/ Which of Porter's competitive strategies would you follow in formulating the overall strategy? why? 2/ Analyzing the consumer market, what cultural, social, and personal factors have the most influence on your consumers? why? 3/ what kind of marketing activities should your company plan to coincide with each stage of the consumer buying process (for this service)? Explain

    Differentiation strategy
Porter's competitive strategy that I would follow is the differentiation strategy. It is where
I focus on being different from my competitors. I offer a diverse and wide range of services by
having uniqueness within the core of the product. I will consider this type of strategy by first
noting the current development and the benefits my competitors offer and the history of their
innovation, as well as the customer trends. I choose the differentiation strategy since it makes it
easier for my management team to incorporate their outward thinking and creativity in marketing
the stand-alone facilities (Mekic & Mekic,2014). The new features like being located near large
gyms will also help the facility have more customers and increasing its revenue. The
differentiation strategy will help build a community within my customer base and increase their
loyalty since the new features like dog treadmills excite them.
Cultural, social and personal factors are influencing consumers.
They are various factors that influence my consumers. Firstly, we live in a society where
every individual has someone who influences them in multiple ways. For instance, most people
who enroll in my facility were referred to by friends that have used our facilities for their dogs
(Ramya&Ali,2016). They also compare their dogs' health with other dogs in my facility, and the
results make them enroll in my facility. Also, my consumers social status greatly influence their
choice to enroll in my facility since it is very affordable, and by this it attracts middle-class
    individuals.
Also, cultural factors impacts my consumers. The facility's area has the culture that
every household must own a dog, and most of its residents ar...
